Specifications / Requirements:
No any electrical staff is allowed to carry out private works of tenant, unless it is necessary to protect SLIC installed system. ii. Maintenance Contractor should adhere that the replacement of electrical staff should not be changed frequently. iii. All replacement of electrical staff must be approved by State Life (Real Estate) Rahim Yar Khan, prior to posting at site & they must have valid wireman and Supervisor licenses accordingly. iv. It will be responsibility of the Maintenance Contractor to check and arrange renewal of the licenses of the staff posted at State Life Building, Rahim Yar Khan during contract period every year. i. Tender are invited for Operation & Maintenance Contract of Electrical Works & Solar System installed at State Life Building Rahim Yar Khan. ii. Tender shall be submitted on E-PADS. iii. Tender documents (all papers) must be initiated to signify the acceptance of tender’s conditions. iv. M/s. State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan reserves the right to accept / reject any or all, the lowest or others partly or completely without assigning any reason. v. Any conditional tender will not be accepted and liable or ejection. vi. Tender without Bid Security will be rejected. vii. State Life will not be responsible for any loss to life and will not accept any claim, liabilities or compensation whatsoever. On receipt of any complaint (via phone call, letter or fax), the contractor will attend the complaints within 2 Hours. Coordination with MEPCO i-e Transformer fault HT Link down fall / shut down the breaker of trolley / Office of Electrical inspector & other concerned Govt. Agencies. a. Technical services and operating conditions for achieving the performance shall be the responsibility of the Tender. c. Bid submission without Bid Security will be rejected out rightly. d. Liquidated Damages

Following is the guidance for Dispute Resolution
Notwithstanding any reference to the arbitration herein, the parties shall continue to perform their respective obligations under the Contract unless they otherwise agree that the Authority shall pay the Bidder any monies due to the Bidder.
Arbitrator’s fee:
The fee shall be specified in Pak Rupees, as determined by the Arbitrator, which shall be shared equally by both parties.
Appointing Authority for Arbitrator:
By the Mutual Consent or in accordance with the provisions of Arbitration Act, 1940, in case the parties fail to reach a consensus on the name of sole arbitrator, any party may submit an application to the Chief Justice Islamabad High Court for appointment of sole arbitrator. The Chief Justice IHC may appoint a former judge of any High Court or Supreme Court as the sole arbitrator to resolve the dispute between the parties.
Rules of procedure for arbitration proceedings:
Any dispute between the Authority and a Bidder who is a national of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan arising in connection with the present Contract shall be referred to adjudication or arbitration in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan including Arbitration Act 1940, however above provision shall prevail in referring the case to the Arbitrator.
Place of Arbitration and Award:
The arbitration shall be conducted in English language and place of arbitration shall be at Islamabad. The award of the arbitrator shall be final and shall be binding on the parties.
