The bidders are advised to visit and examine the site of the works and its surroundings and to obtain for itself on their own responsibility, all information that may be necessary for preparing the bid and entering in to contract agreement. The cost incurred in visiting the site shall be at the bidders own expense. The bidder will have to examine the area for installation of structure, existing electrical wiring and location of the switch room/Electrical Room.
The Contractor must ensure that the supplied equipment is as per international standards/IEC and is fully operational, new, genuine and performs properly. The supplier shall provide all the necessary shipment details.
The Contractor shall also ensure that the installation and workmanship are of the highest professional quality
The Contractor shall supply, install, test, and commission the complete solar PV system, including but not limited to:
The Contractor shall ensure that the system is fully functional, tested, and ready for operation at the time of handover.
The Contractor shall provide:
All the works, fittings and accessories that might not have been mentioned specifically in the scope/specification but are necessary for equipment’s of the system(s) should be identified during the site visit by bidder and deemed to be included in the cost.
The Contractor shall connect the complete solar PV system to the existing electrical system of the facility, ensuring proper integration, compatibility, and safe operation in accordance with applicable electrical standards and regulations.
All necessary electrical wiring from existing electrical distribution box/system to solar system and vice versa shall have to be done by the contractor including supply of all required material.
DCDB/ACDB shall be provided in between of suitable rating for connection and disconnection of array section.
The Contractor shall provide complete earthing for the solar PV system including panel-to-panel bonding, DC side earthing, AC equipment earthing, battery bank earthing, and lightning protection, in accordance with applicable IEC standards, ensuring proper installation, testing, and acceptable earth resistance prior to commissioning.
Any defects or incomplete works identified shall be rectified by the Contractor at no additional cost.
The structure including solar panels power conditioner/inverter/distribution boards etc and workmanship of the system must be warranted against any manufacturing, design, installation defects for a minimum period of 5 years.
The contractor shall be responsible to provide onsite trainings to user for operation and Maintenance.
The contractor/bidder will be responsible to perform or arrange test from 3rd part/Govt. labs of different equipment like solar panels, power cable, circuit breakers, earthing, surge arrestors etc to verify electrical characteristics. The supplier has to arranged the equipment to performed tests.
The warranty of complete system is one year. During warranty (01 Year), the contractor shall be responsible to provide free replacement of defective parts and maintenance of PV System(s).
Support Structures shall be manufactured with hot dipped Galvanized Steel angles/channels/supports and structures must be free from corrosion and rust. Care rust be taken due to salty environment at our project site.
To allow regular cleaning of the solar modules. There should be easily accessible for personnel and have enough space to roam about.
Each panels frame structure shall be so fabricated as to be grouted using rawal bolts in cement concrete foundation with steel frame structure at the site.
Bidders are requested to include detailed specifications, drawings, catalogues, etc. with their offers for the intended work. An operational instruction and maintenance manual should be provided with solar system. The detail diagram(s) of wiring and connection diagrams should be provided with manual.

Liquidated Damages
If the Bidder fails to provide services as required under the contract or in case of any data loss/data breach or any incident compromising the data security or other such failures related to any services, the Bidder shall pay to the Procuring Agency as Liquidated Damages at a rate of 0.10% to 10.00% of the Contract value, in accordance with the extent of performance failure & the cost of investigating such incidents as judged by the Authority.

Notwithstanding any reference to the arbitration herein, the parties shall continue to perform their respective obligations under the Contract.
